To the men and women who, over the past 52 years, have dedicated their working lives to the construction and operation of Hazelwood Power Station and Mine, ensuring the lights shone bright in Victoria, we thank you.

For more than five decades, the chimney stacks of the Hazelwood Power Station have stood tall, dominating the Latrobe Valley skyline. Under the experienced watch of the station’s operators, Hazelwood generated 25 per cent of the state’s electricity.
