Terms of use

These terms and conditions are important, and we encourage you to read them in their entirety before using this Site. There are some specific terms that we want you to be particularly aware of:

  • Site content: Except as required by law, we do not warrant, and are not responsible or liable for, any liabilities in connection with errors in, or omissions from, the information contained in this Site; and

What do these terms apply to?

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) apply to your use of https://www.engie.com.au (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to bound by, and comply with, these Terms. If you purchase products or services from us, that relationship will be governed by separate terms.

In these Terms, references to “we”, “us” and “our” includes (as applicable):

  • the ENGIE ANZ Group comprising of Australian subsidiaries of the ENGIE SA Group and other Australian entities in which ENGIE SA holds majority ownership interest (including entities that are Australian subsidiaries of International Power (Australia) Holdings Pty Ltd. ENGIE SA is a public limited company entered in the Nanterre Register of Companies under number 542 107 651and
  • IPower Pty Ltd (ACN 111 267 228) and IPower 2 Pty Ltd (ABN 24 070 374 293), trading as ENGIE ABN 67 269 241 237and their related bodies corporate.
     

Purpose of this site  

The information and content on this Site are of a general nature and is provided for general information only.  You should not rely on its accuracy and it may not be reliable, suitable for your intended use or complete in all respects.   

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring the security of the devices that you use to access the Site, including by using security software.

  • each party’s liability for loss or damage of any kind arising out of these Terms is reduced to the extent that the other party caused or contributed to the loss or damage.

You have certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law and similar legislation, including the consumer guarantees.  Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies, or has the effect of excluding restricting or modifying, the application of, or the exercise of rights conferred by or relating to the consumer guarantees.
 

Suspension of your access 

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the Site at any time if you breach these Terms in our reasonable opinion.

Intellectual property 

Unless otherwise indicated, we own or have rights to the Site, including but not limited to, the software, and any data, compilations, images, photography, graphics, artwork, text, and other material used on the Site, including the intellectual property rights therein. 
Unless permitted by law, you must not decompile, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Site.
